Hi! I'm Maryann and I've been working as a writer in the aviation industry since 2008. I used to head up editorial and sales at a magazine called PAX International, which covers aircraft catering, inflight products, interiors and technology, and the cruise line industry. During my annual pilgrimage to the largest aircraft "insides" show and market in the world (Aircraft Interiors Expo, Hamburg) I met a boy and decided it was time to sell all my stuff and move. 

I stuck with the aviation writing thing because I love it. Now I'm a freelancer and I regularly contribute to several international aviation titles. I also help some suppliers increase their exposure in trade media.

This is a place where I post things that strike me as interesting or unusual about aviation, travel and living abroad.
